This textbook for a second course in computer science demonstrates the role of abstract data types in writing object-oriented programs. The authors discuss classes, the linked list, recursion, stacks, queues, the efficiency of algorithms, trees, tables, and graphs. The third edition adds sections on inheritance and the standard template library. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
This is an excellent textbook that I used at UCLA during my short exchange. I was an undergraduate at that time and only took an very introductory course in C++ prior to reading this book. Right now, I am away from programming for many years and still wanna use this as a reference when I am preparing interviews related to C++.
