These mirrors are solid. The attached picture shows them fully extended for a nice and wide field of view, but you can easily rotate them 180 degrees so they point inward for a very compact profile, which is great if you need to get through tight spaces, or for when you park in a crowded place. However, in the inward position you get a much nicer view of your arm than the road behind.Overall, I'm super happy with these mirrors. They fit my speed triple perfectly and were very easy to install. I think these could pass for stock, or better. When I bought the bike, it had a single bar end mirror. I feel so much safer now that I have almost a 380 degree picture of what's around me in traffic, so I always have an escape route in mind whenever idiots pull in front of me without signaling.Left side mirror had a flaw in glass thus distorting image and one of the rubber/plastic caps/screw covers was to big a did not fit properly. Other than that they looked good but won't use and into the junk drawer they go. Could not recommend, poor quality over all.These mirrors arrived with the left side mirror cracked on top left corner. I attempted a return and found the fee would be $14 to $15 dollars while the original cost was approx. $18. Why should i be penalized for a return fee when they were cracked on arrival and no fault of mine. Very disappointed with mirrors and the HHT group that sent them. Guess they get tossed in trash is my only option. no more purchasing from the HHT group !!!!looks almost like the original ones. very sturdy and perfect fit for a Ducati Monster.Plastic and pot metal. Don't waste your cash
