The long and short is that this product is just like it looks and works perfectly. Also, it came well-packaged. I glad that even the unpainted black color blends in pretty well on my green car (the wheels are black, wipers, etc.--and from most angles one can't see both mirrors at the same time--so I bet most people don't even know it's a replacement. I probably won't make the effort to paint it given other cosmetic imperfections on my 21-year-old car.)I installed it in my '95 Honda Accord Coupe. Replacement on my vehicle was extremely simple. I used a flat-head screwdriver and my fingers to gently pop off the triangular piece of plastic on the INSIDE of the door. Then I unscrewed the three nuts with a 1/4 or maybe 3/8 hex head on my impact driver (ratchet set will work, too). I unplugged the main plug, pulled the old mirror out, put the new one in and re-screwed and plugged in. Upon testing it with the car on, it worked perfectly. (The electrical system won't respond in most cars unless you have the key turned on at least partially.)At about $25, this was the best price I could find and far better than my local junkyards for even used mirrors. Replacing the mirror was far easier and simpler than I expected. Now, if I there aren't any more trash cans six feet into the road as I round the corner, I should be all set . . . . or at least if there are, let them be on the other side so I can replace the driver's mirror--which I'll admit I'm tempted to do, because deep down when I let myself think about it, it does trouble that OCD self deep down that now one of my mirrors is black and the other green. :)
