This mirror works as expected for a cheap tow mirror, it has slight rattle to it at 60 mph but better than my first cheap tow mirror so it seems to be an improvement for now.Pros:-Cheap-Power and heated-Vibration seems fairly minimal for the price pointCons:-Cheap construction (see picture)-Studs interfere with the mirror adjuster (This is normal for all the tow mirrors I've seen/used) This can be fixed by cutting the stud shorterBackground: My driver side mirror folding mechanism failed, I repaired it, however the capture nut was cheap and did not do well to keep the spring seated properly, it would generally shoot out when I tried to rotate the mirror; then after the 4th time of putting the nut on it sheared off one of the mirror adjustment wires and I began looking for a replacement as the location to re-solder the wires was extremely difficult. I started looking around for the cheaper mirrors that have heat and power. This one seemed to fit the bill and was sold by Amazon.Picture 1: You can see the already rusting screw with low grade materials being used, I don't plan on tearing this mirror apart ever so it isn't biggest worry as long as everything continues to work.I will post updates as I continue to use it.The mirrors themselves work great and the install was easy, except for the fact that I had to partially grind down the rear of the power mirror switch on the driver's side in order to reattach the interior trim. One of the studs that holds the new mirror on contacts the back of the switch. The solution was to grind down both the stud and the back of the switch. Not a huge deal for me since I have a Dremel, but some customers might struggle with this unexpected task.Mirrors are awesome except for one small issue. Drivers side, the control lever for the power function of the mirrors hits the new mounting bolt and nut. Door panel will not snap into place. I had to swap mounting bracket with passenger side so the nut was on a sunken part of mount, where the original bracket had a raised part where nut seated after tightening. Other than the headache of re-fabricating brackets so dpor panel would snap flush,great mirrors.When I received this package in the mail the box was completely destroyed as if it had been kicked around multiple times . The mirror still seem to be intact so I installed it onto my truck and I’m now having issues with the tow mirrors not staying up they keep wanting to bend closed . I’m not sure if the spring is too tight or what happened but they definitely are not the sturdiest of mirrors.The mirrors for kind of ok. They are magnified a bit and hard to get used toAccidentally ordered the wrong size and now I'm screwedOnly Received passenger side mirror.
